Dreams don’t work unless you do

"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
- Confucius

Finding the job you love is about identifying your personal sweet spot. That sweet spot is found at the intersection of your talent, passion and economic needs.

How would you answer these 3 questions?

1.  What are you deeply passionate about?
2.  What are you genetically encoded for?
3.  What makes economic sense - what can you make a living at?

After answering those questions, delve deeper and identify common threads.  Are you passionate about sports?  Are you genetically encoded toward communication?  Next, do an Internet search to discover jobs that require your unique talents.

Not ready to give up your current job that pays well, but is unrewarding?  Start small.  If you're a person that loves sports, volunteer to coach a little league team.  Go to community events, summarize what happened and submit an article to the editor of your local newspaper.  In today's economy, everyone is looking for help and will accept your offers with open arms.

Put your dreams and aspirations out into the universe.  If you keep at it, doors will open and before you know it, challenging opportunities will present themselves.

Don't be someone that sits on the sidelines and just goes through the motions.

(Tweet this):  If it’s both terrifying and amazing then you should definitely pursue it.
